merge two directories

How can i merge two directories (Indexes folder) together.
Lucene.Net.

What exactly you want to do ? do you want to merge two directory files and folders and store somewhere ?

i have two index folders , one of them contains top 1000 data indexed
and another folder has top 500 data indexed.

i need to merge them in one folder( top 1500 ) .
I don't know if a copy and past for index files from folder to folder is acceptable in lucene.

i think there are some code to write the data from folder to folder in lucene.

the merge process for segments files inside directories.
