I want data from POP Up widow to my parent form

I want to ask that I have parent form in asp.net . I open a pop up window .in pop window there is datatgrid. one column name is tenderID. accoding to tenderid all data will fecth the data from sql server to my orignal data .according to which tender i select in pop up window.

Is the popup a new window or a DIV which you have hidden in your page?
