For a TextArea You Use Regular Expression Validation Control to Manage the Maxlength In the Property Window of the Regular Expression You Put this Expression (^\w{1,20}$) to Validate the TextArea cannot have morethan 20 characters. Use this Expression in the Property ValidationExpression.
