progress bar in ajax

Hi all , in my form i have three fileupload button and a dropdown button now, i want the progress bar while i click on the submit button i tried the ajax progress bar but ,it cleared the file upload values and a dropdown values i want to retain the values also what to do ,help me thanks in advance ....
