open the database and check the date , such question need solution provider to write a complete validation , if i say that in row command get the control name and send it to Database to check for respective id the date is same , are you going understand , how to acheive it or u want someone to understand ur db sturcutre , ur page nameing convention and write the entire fucntion for u

Do you want to do that from a Javascript ?
I'm not sure you can do that only with a javascript. But you can get the dates in gridview from that javascript and call the database from code behind and check that values are existing in database
