Hi,

Im new to this site and i just wanted to ask if there's someone here knew how to code a Lan Messenger for which, it would not leave any traces of history of messages like using net send command in DOS?

I together with my fellow team mates in the office are using net send command to talk in the office, but our topic are often limited because our messages can be read by our bosses via event viewer. So i was searching in the internet to find a way how to do this. I could not used softwares that needs to be installed before using because installing in our PC's are disabled by our IT administrators. It's not also easy to used USB to put softwares to our PC because USB drives are also disabled. So the only way i could think of is to code the program in my PC and run it there like inputting codes in the notepad. If there's someone here new how to do that and understand my situation, i would gladly accept your help.

THAnk you very much,

Jecko.

Don't take this the wrong way, but maybe you should concentrate on doing your job?

You could code something to do this, but anything you do will have to go over the network and could be traced, additionally at some point one of your bosses will notice one of you chatting away and will discover what you've done, and if you've written some code to specifically chat instead of doing work, then you will most likely loose your job.

Why take the risk, just chat to your friends when you can at coffee breaks, etc.

regards,
Jonathan
