Hello all,

How I can implement a profiling in a web site or a web page using C#. I want to know which actions are taking place while processing a page request and how much resource / time is taken to complete each action. I have downloaded Windows Performance toolkit but didn't find enough help from it. If someone can shed some light into this issue, that would be great.

Thanks
Sebastian

I have downloaded VSTS Profiler(http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=18277), but it seems that ,it doesn't support my OS (Windows 7 Ultimate)

Details does leaves Win7 as supported OS. Is your server a Win7 machine? Generally, servers are not just servers and not developer machines.

mine is a windows 7 machine.
From that URL I understood that Windows 7 is not in list.
"System requirements
Supported operating systems: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, Windows XP

Supported platforms: Links below for x86 and x64, note not all platforms support all version of the Operating Systems.

The Stand-Alone Profiler installation is a minimum installation and it does not install runtime components that may be necessary for executing your application successfully."
