Convert binary file to .wav and then read the file .wav with c sharp?

I'm doing a project in c shrp which requires me to encrypt a wave file. So, is there a straight forward process to convert a wave file into binary and back? I'll be applying an encryption algorithm on the binary data.

Solution 1

All files are in binary. That's how computer storage works.

But the simplest way of reading it in for encryption would probably be System.IO.File.ReadAllBytes[^] (I'd link you to Microsoft's documentation for it but MSDN is down today).
