I've published an article based on other artilce on this site. I'd like to specify that this is an alternative article. I could delete this one and repost it as alternative but I will lose all the messages and statistics.
Is there a way to make already published article to be an alternative to another article without loosing discussions and ratings associated with it?

Admins can help/do it! Post in the forum suggested by Nelek and follow there.

I think you should ask in http://www.codeproject.com/Forums/1645/Site-Bugs-Suggestions.aspx[^], you will probably get better answer there, or a site admin will fix it for you.

On the other hand, if you specify that is an alternative and provide a link to the original one, I personally don't see it as a big problem.
