hi can any one tel me what type of error is this..

error like

it is an error to use a section registered as allowDefination='MachineApplication' beyond application level.this error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS 

<authentication mode="Windows"/>

how to solve this problem??

Hi ythisbug,

Normaly this occurs when you don't open the website from its root problem.

For eg you have 1 folder Projects and in that your project folder like HospitalMgmt
means your path is

D:/Projects/HospitalMgmt

When you open the website using open website dialogue box go to HospitalMgmt root folder and then open your website then this problem will solve.

I have solve this problem using this solution pls check and reply me if solve.
