Popoulate Dropdown value in NewForm.aspx in sharepoint

Hi,

I have created new form newresponseform.aspx. I want to populate dropdown value according to uniqeId.Now dropdown two value contain None and PP, always display "None" in dropdown but i want to populate value in dropdown "PP". So please help me ~~ASAP~~.

Where are the values for this dropdown coming from? If it is a choice site column then change the default value for it.
