no port detection in my vista/win 7

my vista/win 7 doesn't detect LTP port which we are using to control our robot.........please help

Check with your network security guy if the network policy has disabled it..

Solution 1

Try this...

1 Right-click the My Computer icon on your desktop, and then click Properties.
2 Click the Hardware tab,n thn click Device Manager.
3 Click to expand Ports, right-click Printer Port (LPT1), and then click Properties.
4 Click the Port Settings tab, click Enable legacy Plug and Play detection, and then click OK.
5 Restart your computer when you are prompted to do so.
