Is it possible to open an asp page using the web server of Visual studio

VS2008

VS 2008 has a default web server right? Because of this I can open an aspx page in a browser without an IIS.

I don't have IIS in my system, but I have VS 2008 installed.

Is it possible for me to open my asp page(not aspx) in a web browser(IE) using VS default web server?

If so how it is possible?

Short answer: no

Visual studio's web server cant handle asp/vbscript.
