My 5. This is asked a lot indeed!
RaisKazi 5-Nov-11 13:13pm
Thanks Naerling. Yup it is and now ++. :)
Albert Holguin 6-Nov-11 19:16pm
It is, maybe we need to post this conversation as the CP front page... lol
Sander Rossel 7-Nov-11 1:49am
Post it in the Site Bugs/Suggestions forum. There is a bug that the same question keeps popping up over and over in QA and we think it might be fixed if this conversation is put on the homepage ;p

This is a useful source of advice indeed, my 5. However I have my own approach to it, please see my solution.

How should we know? This sounds like it's a school assignment. We do not know what techniques should be used (except OOP and C++), we don't know what your level of expertise is, what you want to accomplish etc...
I suggest you think hard on something you like to do and do it.
And by the way, one and a half month is not very long. A bit of a project might take many months to complete by many programmers (especially if it's a hard to do project, like you are asking). So I suggest you keep it somewhat simple and not to big.

"Hard on something".what thing that would. that's the question. U r right that 1 month is not much enough for the especially for the student. And i made Graphical Scoreboard in last semester, but this time i don't want such a graphical work..just want to Make something different.

How about designing your own little framework? Just some things that come to mind: security, validation, some complicated math stuff... Anything you like. To make the life of people who use it a little easier.
Sergey Alexandrovich Kryukov 5-Nov-11 21:17pm
You a right about timing and that we don't know. However, some projects for this kind of time frame are affordable. We do not know, but some general ideas can be given. For example, please take a look at my solution to see how I approach it.

Thanks Naerling, can i ask something more regards math Stuff. Which Part of Mathematics i have to select??. i Have interests in Sets but problem is that without Venn Diagram project would be incomplete. and on another side Differential equation or matrices are worked by classmates in last semester.
Sander Rossel 6-Nov-11 5:34am
I'm not a mathematician. Never heard of the Venn diagram or differential equations and matrices...
I need people like you to make me API's that can do that work for me (should I ever need it) ;)
Well, do you have a hobby? Anything not related to programming but where a program or a Web resource could help. Music, arts, crafts? Sports, books, video, collections, playing with children or teaching them? Are you learning yourself — drawing, painting, playing a musical instrument?

Are you frustrated with some software tools you use in your work and would like some tools to improve your performance and make your work less boring and mechanical and more creative?

Think about it. The best software is usually the one done for our own needs or for helping our friends or relatives. Use a chance given by your school to create something you would really enjoy.

Good luck,
—SA

who that wants learn, can learn from everywhere my friend...
Albert Holguin 7-Nov-11 11:31am
that website doesn't suggest projects, it gives out source code to projects... that's like someone asking for essay suggestions and giving him a pile of essays... odds are, he's going to copy...
