Paging in grid view without using inbuilt facility

My grid view contains 100 of pages,
and i want to implement paging by using drop down,
such that drop down will contain the all page numbers.
Whenever user select a page number from drop down then i want to display that page

this may be of help http://wp.me/p1Kmgd-s[^]. Its my blog where I keep ranting about such and other issues, though not very frequently. You probably can adjust that code and use it for manual paging as well. Do let me know if it worked for you.
