Could anybody suggest me any sequential algorithm that can be parallelised for multi-core environment..???
I require that it must not be parallelised yet by anybody 'coz I have to do it for my M.Tech thesis.
I am an M.Tech-CSE final year student.
If somebody have any idea then please do reply at the earliest..

I'm not sure how you expect anyone to give you the name of a sequential algorithm that has not been parallelised. Do you think there is a list somewhere with this information?

Image resize/resampling could be one.

So by now, you should be capable of doing your own research...

yess..I too want to do on my own.
I have decided to parallelize an existing sequential algo which is not yet parallelized by anybody.
For eg., Advanced Encryption Standard Algorithm has already been parallelized.
Similarly I am just asking for any such algo. I'm not asking about how to implement the total project.
If you have any idea, then you can share it here.
