VB6 Error handling. Send error email

Hi all,

I'm supporting an old system written in VB6. The system is currently being re-written in .Net but while that is happening I have to support the VB6 system. Currently the error message is just showed in a message box. The problem is that the users are not reporting the error so I would like to be able to send the error message to me in an email. Can this be done in VB6 ?

Solution 1

Yes, you can send emails using CDO[^]. Note that Outlook must be installed for CDO to work.
