How to export a excel in 2007 format using Asp.net.

I have used Open XML SDK and it does works. It does allows to create complex files but its use is somewhat complicate since it is relatively low level and many details must be handled by the programmer.

Maybe someday, someone would build a more user-friendly librairy on top of that so that we would have access to all the power but without having to handle all the details.

thanks for your reply.
and i need to export it from server side. i cannot save whole data in the clientside. also the javascript will not respond for the huge data. please let me know..

What is huge data in your case?

Exporting from the server size to have a major advantage that it allows to use advanced Excel features like charts. And even without that, you have far more control over formatting and you can uses formula and sheets also.
I didnt find any answers for this... it seems we cannot export to excel file in 2007 format. Refer the below link..
