i am a begineer of vb6.... i am learning. i made a programme using vb6. but now da fact is that i want to create own server so that i can sell that soft using HDD number or other way....

can anyone please help me out how can i add server or prcess please give me some example for clear,,,

I'm just curious: I understand why someone use VB6 but how anyone can be a ***beginner*** is using something as dead it VB6?

As has been said, VB6 is a dead language. No-one uses it for new development, so why would you learn it ? It's horrible, it's unsupported, and resources for it are drying up.

Solution 1

Uninstall VB6 and install VB.net instead. It's free and not dead [yet]

Even better would be to go for C# or Java. All these are free and current.

Well. VB.NET sucks for people used to real languages, but it can do everything C# can do, and probably more than Java can :P

VB.net because it 'reduces' the learning curve #snigger# from VB6. I would recommend Java over C# as I prefer it, but some would prefer C# over Java.
