Transfer to custom error page from Event handler

HI,

How to display custom error page to the user from checking out event handler in moss 2007?
Sputility.TransferErrorpage() is not working
and properties.Errormessage is not working in IE6

It will be great if any body can give solution for my problem

I found this using a secret (and relatively recent) internet technology called a "search engine".

It may or may not help, but I searched for "sharepoint custom error page", and this magic new search engine returned over 900,000 results for you to peruse at your liesure.
