i am using grid view with edit update delete options. i am using item templates and edit item templates . now i want to use ajax for my grid how can i use ajax with grid view edit mode.

the simplest way is to wrap the gridview in update panel.
most of the work is done.

where does the information in the gridview come from? is it connected to a database or has it been manually imput?

it is coming from data base.
my grid view is enabled with edit mode .
