Describe your question better ...
Joan M 27-Apr-11 5:43am
Usually when one user don't know why needs something means that the user don't need it.
Apart from that... you should give us more pointers: why are you asking that... do you need to achieve something? do you want to know why PHP and not any other way to do X? developing a better question will give you a better answer...

Somehow it is frustrating to see that people is not putting a small effort in asking properly something...

Do it better the next time ;)

Joan, you're absolutely right. It does not deserve other answer; what you say would be enough.
Would you post it as an answer? I would vote 5...

Nice answer, my 5...

This answer is already a big overkill compared to what the Question deserves (it rather deserves just the Joan's comment on top of this page, please see). Anyway, my 5.

PHP will allow you to program your web pages and to accomplish things that with regular HTML you would not be able to do...

Take a look here: http://www.php.net/[^] where you will be able to find whatever you could need regarding PHP.

If you want to test PHP there are plenty of suites out there that will allow you to run a php server in your computer or in a virtual machine... I'm using EasyPHP[^], but there are many others...

Good luck!
