Creating Viewer for Crystal Report 2008 using Visual Studio 2008

I have written a Visual Studio program for crystal report viewer. In my machine I have installed Visual studio 2008 and crystal reports 2008. My Viewer program is running perfectly.

Then I convert it as a setup and installed in another client machine. It gives me a error saying Crystal Runtime is not available. By referring Business Objects website I installed that runtime also.

Now it generates a error saying "Failed to load database information". Can anyone help me on this? If you can please tell me what are the additional components I have to add along with my vb.net project?

Solution 1

At a guess, it either cannot find the database, is it in a different location on the client machine? Or the client machine does not have the database software installed on it.

No the connection with the database and the viewer program is OK.I checked that.
