Qucikbook company file may not opened.Please open it.

Hi all,

I am using windows setup to Export & Import customers data from asp.net application to QuickBook (account software).
I am able to successfully export the coustomer data into QuickBook application.

But when i am importing the customer details i am getting the error "QuickBook company file may not opened.Please open it."But quick book was already opened.

Can any one help onthis !!!!!!

Note:- I am using Quickbook pro 2007 software installed in my machine.

This has nothing to do with ASP.Net.
Next, I would rather look at th QuickBook form for the answer as there you will find more expertise for the subject.

Hi It has nothing to do with ASP.Net,

First thing you need to check that you are using the correct path for the QuickBooks and the correct QuickBooks is opened

May be you need to do is remove the permissions for your app from quickbooks. Open QuickBooks with admin privilege and try to connect from your program. Now QuickBooks opens a dialog and ask to set permission. Check the option allow this program even QuickBooks not opened. Next time it work even if Quickbooks not opened. Otherwise always connect when Quickbooks opened.
