download a file from gridview or datalist

hii all i want to show the candidate detail in datalist/gridview.
the resume path is also saved in database which can be shown in griedview/datalist.now i wan to give a button in front of each row in
the gridview on clicking of which employer can download the candidate resume.how can download a file from gridview.plz help m using csharp as my language...

Solution 1

You're not downloading a file from the gridview. You just need to put a link to the file in the column. There's tons of examples on the web. All you have to do is this[^].
