USB Support

I created an MFC application using Visual C++ 6.0 with RS232 support. after I bought a new laptop I found that is has no COM Port. So I Want to switch my app from RS232 to USB app.

Any help please :confused:

Why?? You can just get a USB COM port adapter.

Besides, USB is not a "port" the same way a serial port is. USB is an expansion bus, not unlike the slots inside the computer. You cannot just open the USB port for communication.
