Major article changes. Update or post a new article?

Just posted my first article on code project a few days ago. Now I have modified the code and improved it and added some more features. Should I post the new updated code in a new article or update the last article and change most of its parts?

I'd suggest that you update the article and include a revision history. That's always been the standard practice here.
