I have a windows server 2016 and VPN is configured.
I am able to connect to L2TP VPN while I'm on the same network, but not able to connect to VPN Remotely.

Please Help

What I have tried:

I have port forwarded port 1701,500 and 4500 and tried turning off firewall.

Still unable to connect from outside network.

You have to configure port forwarding on the router that connects your local LAN to the WAN (internet).

For L2TP that are the UDP ports 500 and 1701 with IP protocol 50 (ESP) and for PPTP the TCP port 1723 with IP protocol 47 (GRE).

How to do that depends on the router. See the router manual for the port forwarding configuration. Better routers have predefined options for VPN settings which must be just enabled. But note that cheap and old routers do not support the required GRE. If you have such a router you have to buy a new one.
