How to use this face recognition to check for attendace?

i just dont how to start/work with this project. im thinking of using the face recognition of sir sergio andres and attach an attendance monitoring kind of system.thx for helping

What I have tried:

i tried google to search for solutions but its too broad and complicated. im a beginer when it comes to database things.
