What is the reason of slow execution of procedure in SQL server

Hi.
I have a query. Lets suppose in evening my stored procedure is taking 2 sec to run.
and in morning when i come office and check that same procedure is taking long to run.
what had happened in last night.
Note that i am the only one who has access on same DB.No other is working on same DB.

what could be my first measures that i will look upon.

Thanks in Advance.

Solution 1

Are you doing bulk insert or update in your procedure.If yes then check your log file size, may be it has been increased more then mdf file size.
