How do I make a network monitoring application for windows 7 using C# ?

The application should be able to keep track of all data usage through our wifi router.The application should be able to manage all network device connected to the router.That is it must be able to see individual data usage of each network device connected to the router and to block them using the application

What I have tried:

i can't get it. I don't know how to access the network parameters in the router.

Read the documentation for your router or contact the manufacturer. We can't possibly know which router you have out of the thousands of routers there are.

Solution 1

One solution to consider is finding a router that you can install dd-wrt[^] on. That is an open source router software that you can issue remote commands to. Once installed, you should look at the scripting options[^]. Good luck.
