Hi,
     initially i have downloaded sql server 2005 with BIDS, but some transformations in integration service are not working properly. so, now i want to install sql server 2008 with management studio as well as business intelligence development studio which includes integration,analysis and reporting services.

What I have tried:

first and foremost i have downloaded sql server 2008 r2 express, but could not find BIDS option there, later i came to know that, only express edition will not provide BIDS.later tried for enterprise and developer editions, i could not find even link for download...

Thank you very much for respondig to the problem Plz help me on this....which SQL server 2008 version I need to download for management studio....

But i am not getting integration,analysis and reporting services in server type while connecting to server in management studio

Solution 1

Make sure your SQL Server 2008R2 Express is installed with Advanced Services.
