Saving email in Outlook 2007 without opening in a separated window

Is there a way to get the mailitem and attachments without opening the email in a seperated window?

I have tried the ItemLoad event and the object there doesnt work and also the inspector doesnt go until the email is opened in a new window.

Solution 1

The easiest way is to use a 3rd party library; take a look at the Redemption Library[^].
