i have one Requirement add record in data base while adding data base i want to show progress bar to user with file name which one insert in data base. data insert in background thread

What I have tried:

i user back ground thread but it not working properly

I know its a bit of a long read - but try this Task.Run vs BackgroundWorker, Round 1: The Basic Pattern[^] - I would have suggested using a BackgroundWorker, but, this article suggests why Task.Run() is better and shows how to use - look at 'Reporting progress' in the left hand side menu for example
