How do I connect oracle 12c database for 64 bit to excel 2013 macro?

What I have tried:

I have set a DSN (EDM_PROD) in ODBC Data Source Administrator and I have this code: DSN=EDM_PROD;UID=xxxx;PWD=xxxx

What am I doing wrong?

Solution 1

You need to use an Oracle client with the same bitness as your application. So either install the 64 bit office, or use the 32 bit Oracle client.
