How to Change Volume Serial

Dear All,

I need to change the HDD Volume serial number by C#, VB.NET or VB6

Volume Serial in (Win32_LogicalDisk >> VolumeSerialNumber)

I did find C++ code to change the volume serial but I can't use it in my .NET project

I appreciate your help

I'm not sure about changing it, but here[^] is an article that can help you access it. Hopefully that can get you started on finding a way to change it.

I would venture a guess and say that it is not possible, but if you claim that you have C++ code that can do it, I might be wrong.

You could try posting that code so we could have a look at it..
