i have two group of controls named as fddetails and mortdetails in a single page...i am showing one group of controls at a time using visible false...so i need to validate the one group of controls at a time How?

Solution 1

Change the Validation Group Property of your Submit Button at runtime (page_load).
for example

C#

btn_submit.ValidationGroup = "fddetails";
