I need to use SVM for object classification. However, I really don't know how to use it or even how to implement it (in C# as my supervisor wants.) Could anyone give me some guidance on how to use it and tell me how demanding coding it can be?

I'm a student, so my supervisor does not pay me!

Many thanks

"Support vector machines (SVMs) are a set of related supervised learning methods used for classification and regression."

Is this what you mean ?

This is why people are moving away from outsourcing, because of people who are given tasks that they have no idea how to do. I assume your supervisor knows how to do this, so he deserves to know that you do not, and it's his problem to figure out how to make sure you have the resources you need, or hire someone else. Random forum replies are no substitute for you having some understanding of what it is you are being paid to do.

If on the other hand, you are a student, then it is 100% guarenteed that you've been given all the materials you need to do this task. If you don't have enough to even start, you should talk to your teacher. If you have specific questions, you should post them, instead of a generic question that implies you have not done any work for yourself.

Probably you are not be interested in an answer anymore. But for future reference, here is a link to a C# implementation of support vector machines[^].

The link you provided is not working, its giving error i.e.

Kindly provide a valid link for SVM implementation
