You may find a clue to the voting system in a recent post of mine. :whistles innocently:

This one?[^] The only 'hint' I can gage from that is it won't be coming back. Please be more specific I can't spend all day reading your past posts, great as they might be.

Possibly. And nowhere in that post do I state that voting won't be coming back (or even hint at it).

No, it's not gone forever.
I need about 6 hrs spare time.

So, gone until 2027 then.

Chris Maunder wrote: I need about 6 hrs spare time. Hi Chris,
If only I could send you "spare time," (or a round-trip ticket for a two month vacation in Thailand), instead of just sending further obscure ramblings on "spare change"
My guess is that you may have meant to qualify your statement so it read: I need about 6 hrs spare time every thirty minutes. But, another guess: you ran out of time to extend your response.
But, my psychic powers do grow dimmer, these days, in spite of brilliant sunshine, and daily temperatures in the mid-to-high eighties Fahrenheit, here.

Bill,
Looks like I received the spare time you sent. I didn't realise that import duty amounted to around about the same amount of time lost in sleep. I really should think these things through more.

Dear Rage,
Being "lost" is good: it means you have a chance to abandon preconceptions, and biases, to open your mind to new perspectives !
The "Ways of Maunder" are mysterious: we must practice patience, and trust that, under-the-surface of CodeProject, vast tectonic plates are shifting, slowly, to raise-up a new continent, which will be exquisitely hospitable for the Malthusianly exploding population of CodeProject, even now soaring far past nine-million-plus members.
"Irony" ? Well, there are a lot of irons in the fire, here.
"Sarcasm" ? I don't see anyone really "mortally wounded" by this hiatus, this pregnant pause, or whatever it is, with rep-voting.
Be of good cheer, assume the best, Bill

When quoting text, it pads some space at the end to keep one's response separate enough. However, when doing multiple quotes, the previous quote's text appears to follow too closely to the next quote. I think the extra quote/gray space should be added before the quote and not after it.

Try looking at the sign-out icon with your head not rotated forty-five degrees: it will then appear as an "x."
But, you are right, clicking on that icon does nothing: which is strange.

It's not working because it's an image. I suspect it's there as a visual representation that there is an important action there.

Hi,
When I log in, I no longer see the new articles since I last logged in flagged. I've cleared my cookies and cache in my browser, etc. Any suggestions?
Best wishes,

Chris,
New articles in the todolist forum were no longer being flagged when I logged in between about 12 Jan and 18 Jan. However they are back, so currently no problem.
Best wishes,
