Well it's wasn't me down-voting myself!
Wow: won't be down-voting anyone, ever again! That's way too punitive just because I want to mark someone down. From now on it's 5 or nothing (except where the post is really (broadly) offensive)
I'll vote you a 5.

Your 5 gives a +24, which is strange as I thought if your downvote was -16 then your upvote was +40.

Oh dont worry, me and digitalman/legalalien have been calling each other names for years. He would normally have responded by now with some suitable insult...
(on a serious note its interesting how antisematism is far less acceptable than antiislamism. Even using the word 'jew' as I did got your attention. Would the term 'muslim_boy' have got above the ground chatter? )

Great, knock yourselves out, but do do me a favour and do not use terms that could be construed by a casual observer as racially (et al.) intolerant
Slam each other with what offensive words give you a thrill offline, but if I have to choose between answering the angry emails I get, along with the legal threats, and showing one or two members the door then you'll understand that I have a website, a community, and a business to look after.
This is a website for software developers. It doesn't belong here.

I am sorry that you take offense, none is intended. But its a little late to be worried about the things a casual viewer might stumble across on CP given the contents of the SB and BR!
As you say, this a SW dev site, and some things dont belong here. Including Latin Primers and Crossword articles! Good to see you finally agree with me!

I received an email notification about an answer a question in Q&A's.
http://www.codeproject.com/Answers/147225/SideBar-Gadget-and-Javascript-issue.aspx#answer1[^]
However, the subject in the email was;
[CodeProject] A alternate has been posted to your tip/trick about "SideBar Gadget and Javascript issue"
As you can see it mentions Alternates and Tip/Tricks, it should read;
[CodeProject] An answer has been posted to your question about "SideBar Gadget and Javascript issue"

In the Member Reputation System page, at the bottom is the breakdown of how things are rated and points earned. I'm curious as to why Participation is on the right? Don't you move Left/Right/Top/Down?

I really liked the way this week's survey provides a link to a similar survey held 7 years ago.
Impressive stuff. Kind of makes me feel more cheerful after all the recalc.

Actually, when everything was said and done, I lost 3K points from numbers I had on Friday, and lost two spots in overall position. I wouldn't exactly call that a win.
