I have a little query...Im a member of beta tester but it is not showing my group / member.
I will not say I have failed 1000 times; I will say that I have discovered 1000 ways that can cause failure – Thomas Edison.
Thanks

Off-topic perhaps, but why are you signed up as a group rather than as a regular member? Perhaps that's what's causing these other anomalies.

Thanks for your prompt response... Actually I don't want to sign up as a group....
it should be as a regular member... what should i do.... please suggest me...
Thanks

No, that's not what I meant. Go to your profile page. Your Account Type is set to Organisation.

For perhaps a week now, there has been a copy of my RegexTester article which has been in an odd state (or perhaps a province):
"RegexTester This is an unfinished article"
"Status: Composing"
(Though maybe the second should read "composting".)
It looks like a hamster has been slacking and I thought you should know.
|
|
|
|

Looks like you tried submitting twice - maybe a server error meant you had to start over.
Would you like me to (humanely) remove the composting item?

Yes.
I don't think I caused it. It was fine for a week or so, then I noticed that it was in that state (I figured some re-editing was going on), then the "good" copy was there as well. I always submit by email anyway.

It's gone

I used to enjoy this benefit as a platinum member but now it seems this benefit has been taken away.
Is it so or I am missing something?

It's on the 'Watched Items' (previously "My CodeProject") page.
Let me also give you a link on your profile page.
[Edit] Actually I'll add a direct link back to the top navbar

Thanks!
I wanted to upload a project for this lounge thread[^] and looked everywhere to find the upload link.

I was just reviewing this article[^] for approval. As you will see it has a few formatting problems. I was going to ignore it since others had already pointed them out. However, I noticed that someone had voted it 5 and I felt obliged to down vote it instead.
I have no idea what to do about it, but it seems that some gold members are not taking their responsibilities seriously.

Why. We can't vote for our own posts. It sounds like a bug to me.

Which makes no sense to me; other than saving me from having to create additional profiles to vote for my articles.

CP Team,
Check out this article http://www.codeproject.com/KB/vb-interop/Send_email_in_VB.aspx. Since the article is not yet edited, it just shows like this is in the footer:
Editor:
Would it be better to hide off the label also in that case?

Personally I think it makes it clear there is no editor. Hence "unedited".

CP Team,
Just noticed in the homepage 'Last 10 Updates' for Articles/Blog, there is a bullet list like the one below:
Article
Technical Blog
I would say instead of bullet list, if you could present two tabs 'Article', 'Technical Blog', the user can still feel more comfortable in seeing only what he is interested. This would be present a more lucid and elegant display right?
