Why does the forum named 'Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP' have MySQL in it? Or for that matter why PHP? Seems like just a random collection of un-associated topics?
But at least with MySQL there is already a Database forum so questions about that should go there.

Or, MS/Windows "stack"; LAMP stack.

... I think it is better to show it ('Improve Question') permanent and not only when one does ho(o)ver over the question.
It is a style guide thing. But from my point of view one should not delegate the user to flip around with the mouse on the screen to see what actions are available.
I estimate, that 75% of the new members then would have a chance to see that there is a possibility to edit the question.
Only my two cents.

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you
Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

I often post a comment that says:
Quote: Please use the Improve question link above, and add complete details of what is not working.
With a couple of exceptions it is routinely ignored and the OP replies, or adds a new comment, with all the details, including a lot of unformatted code.
What we really need is an online training course that all new members have to complete before they are allowed to post a question.

Well, that would get rid of most the students ... they don't even study the course they are supposed to be answering homework on ...

Sorry, but think about more about UI which is user friendly.
Does a user really have to scan the 'screen' with the mouse to get the available options?

I wasn't disagreeing with you - I was commenting on the likelihood of "idiot users" actually reading something if it doesn't contain the code they need to hand in. Experience says they don't even read most of the words in a solution, just copy'n'paste the code fragment then complain it didn't compile as a complete project ...

Sorry, but it is simply a no go UI.
Let's assume you start a setup, and it does not display something like 'next' Button before your mouse hovers the setup window. Sorry, that kind of UI is simply sh..

My comments were what we call in English "tongue in cheek"; that is to say I was only being half serious.
I agree with you it would be better if these fields showed all the time, but experience tells me that posters would still routinely ignore them. As I said above, even when I tell them how to answer correctly, they rarely do so.

It sounds weird to "watch" a member to become his/her follower. The more appropriate word is "follow".
What do you think?

Personally, I think you have been on FarceBok far too much ... but nobody listens to me anyway ...

I do not surf on facebook much. Even GitHub uses the follow button.

I see "watch" buttons in the forums, where it makes perfect sense.

Is 'Catch' Button an option?

Only if there is also a "Try" button.

We use "Watch" in Debug ... so there you go.

The embellishment team here where I work just went on strike so they haven't completed the task I assigned them last night. They say strike but I think it's more likely they all got together and decided to take the day off and stay home to do the do.

Why is this under bugs and suggestions?
Did you mean for it to be in the Lounge?

Oh ok,
But in my defense there is this Joke icon available through a gruff stroke of the type bullet (radio option) ... ... Forms a small conurbation with the Rant icon?

Shouldn't the AI forum have the standard pinned messages at the top like the other forums?

To avoid down votes for questions because of wrong forum section, a moderator should move questions from wrong to the correct forum section.
