I'm trying to start a new article.
I tried to save it as draft, but I got an alert saying I might lose unsaved work (well duh, I'm clicking that button to save it).
Went back to my article and indeed, I lost all my work.
Tried again, but this time I tried to publish it (setting status to draft and selecting "don't publish: work in progress"), but the result was the same.
Luckily I just added a title, description and some tags (or maybe that's the problem?).
Anyway, I'd expected it to save my title, description and tags.
There is now an unpublished [Article:1157838] in my article list (which I can just delete).

I actually just tried editing the body, but it still doesn't save anything.

Me too.
Also, while editing, the <pre> and <code> tags have lost their colouring.

Not even the Preview button works anymore.
It used to open a new tab previewing your article so far.
It now navigates to the, again unsaved, article.
This is not good...
I'm saving my progress in a separate txt file now.

Yes it's broken for me as well and the upload file options just really crashes to nowhere.

I can confirm that this is still a problem. Glad to see some (misery loves..) company. Thought I had broken the CodeProject Wizard 
I chose Publish assuming that it would be reviewed but got published immediately and all images are publishing as text of the image URL instead of displaying the image.

I am unable to update my article to fix these errors. It allows me to edit but any attempt to save or preview the changes kicks me out to this page.

Yep - you're Platinum level so you don't have to wait for articles to be reviewed.

Tried Firefox ver 50 originally, then tried Chrome ver 54 & Edge. Same results.

I tried Edge, Firefox, Chrome, IE 10 and Safari and it's the same.
Just either try to edit an article or start a new submission and try and upload an image or a file and you will see the problem

It is still very broken here. I am unable to edit an article. No drafts are being saved, and the WIP is not being saved (The message about leaving the page is prompted whenever any save is attempted). I have tried refreshing each page with Ctrl+F5, but no difference.
Also, the colouring of the headings, code, and pre tags is not visible when editing.
Using Chrome Version 54.0.2840.99 m.

Wanted to publish on ASP.NET core middleware during Thanksgiving holiday here. It sucks when Submission Wizard fails  Lost some of edits yesterday  Tried today again and used other major browsers but it is still not working. You can't Save Draft, Preview or Publish. Saved my work in Word and will try again later.

I am confirming that this is still a problem
Here are some details of what occurs:
Every time you attempt to "Save Draft" then the page asks if you want to Stay or Leave -- probably posting to the wrong URI.
I also see that the article creator never really finishes creating the intiail draft copy.
I am running Google Chrome Version 54.0.2840.99 m

Can you please try again? Looks like we had an issue with our CDN not being able to access our origin. This should now be fixed.

Nope still broken.
Try to upload a file to a new article, and you can see the problem immediately

What about if you force a reload using Ctrl+F5?
I've just gone through the edit process half a dozen times and it's working for me.
Out of interest can you access this image[^]?

Yep I can access that image.
The problem is on the page itself the upload button

That little spinning icon just keeps on going round and round and you cant select the input box
If you click on the button you end at a 404 screen which says
XML Parsing Error: no element found
Location: https://www.codeproject.com/script/common/404.aspx?aspxerrorpath=/KB/Articles/SubmissionWizard.aspx?at=1

That is probably correct because you can't actually ever enter a name.

That indicates that the scripts for that page haven't loaded.
If you open the developer tools for the browser and check the error console you'll probably see an error that one or more files couldn't be retrieved. If this is the case then let me know which ones, but also try loading those files directly in your browser.

Nope, nothing changed for me.
I refreshed using ctrl + f5 and I'm using Chrome.
