🐘! No, not as in the CP euphemism. As in, "An 🐘 never forgets."
If you delete an image, and then upload a new one with the same filename, you can't use the new image because the editor keeps using the old one! I thought I must be doing something wrong but eventually decided that I wasn't the insane one! Doing a "Save" between deleting and uploading doesn't get around it either.
EDIT: Clearing your browser's cache, as suggested by phil.o, seems to fix this.

It could be a caching issue. Did you try to flush your browser's cache?

Isn't that what tech support always says?
Good suggestion, I'll try it next time.

At least you didn't recommend that I reinstall Windows!

Or that you defragment your hard-drive

Well, well. It seems to work and is the first time I've ever seen it actually fix a problem!

When doing daily SAOTD, I'm using the "Who's Who" list, whose links use the user name to link to account page. For each reported account, I simply copy the address of the page and paste it in the report.
The problem with this is, if the account owner changes his user name inbetween, this renders the link invalid.
The idea would be to have a quick way to get a link to the account page using the member ID (which can't be changed) instead of the user name.
For example, the following text could be made as a link using the member id:
Would it be possible to implement such a functionality?

Edit_01: Testing:
Nelek - Professional Profile[^]
Yes... you are right. I changed my @ summon nick to @Nelek2 then pasted and tested the link... it worked.
Changed back to @Nelek and landed in a "Unable to load the requested member's information." page.
I suppose that when I publish this "Edit" then only the second summon (the correct one) will work.
EDIT_02:
As supposed @Nelek2 doesn't work

I spotted it last week when I saw the "Impossible to load the requested member's information." message while checking the status.

Interesting. I've seen that message too and just figured it was a transient thing on the way to "This account has been closed".
Maybe you should delete this post after you get a response, to prevent spammers from getting ideas until a fix is submitted.

I'm not sure that the majority of spam accounts I report daily even bother to read posts on the site. They do not stand out by their intelligence nor subtlety.

I keep on flagging it, but whenever I refresh the page, only Wendelius' report is shown. The report on the account itself seems to persist, though.

Yes. I noticed that there was only one report shown on the shield, though. It seems that only the last flagger is now shown, instead of the list of distinct flaggers.

phil.o wrote: It seems that only the last flagger is now shown, instead of the list of distinct flaggers. I can confirm this.
I reported 4 blogs of the same author right now in moderation and posted a "format problem" message in the board.
It was showing only one report by @GregUtas, then I reported them and it continued showing only 1 report, this time by me.
I just tried re-reporting it, and the counter showed that my report was the 9th, still only my name is visible. See pic below

It might be a new feature to prevent moderators from being influenced by previous reviews!

Greg Utas wrote: It might be a new feature to prevent moderators from being influenced by previous reviews! I don't think so.
Making the list visible offers more advantages than the possible influence when reporting.
Even with the list and the possibility to say "pay attention" (which I try to do from time to time) to the reporters or approvers there still are articles getting approved with serious issues or getting reported for "spam" when there is no spam at all (confusing the filters).
No list would be a step back to what it was, and it was even worse. The new feature was to include the list after I suggested it a couple of years ago.
But... in the case the "influence" should be avoided, then it would still make sense to keep the list visible for us protectors / mentors / people with some exclusive badge and non visible for normal "high rep members" that can approve items in moderation

You can do it yourself:
- Click on your account name on the top right corner of the page.
- Click on "My settings" in the left menu.
- Select the "Privacy" tab.
- Check "Close my account" checkbox.
- Click on "Save my settings".

Hello there,
When I tried to sign in to my account in the Google API v3 Manager application, "Signing in with Google has been temporarily disabled for this application. This application has not yet been verified by Google to use Signing In with Google." I get an error. The image of the error is below.
Thank you in advance for your help.
