Thanks, I missed that.I don't think silver is supposed to allow editing.

According to the "privileges" tab, it is:
Whether it should, and quite how a member whose only contribution seems to be a single comment managed to get to silver in the first place, is another question.

I misread something elsewhere in the FAQ. Obviously the requirements for Silver status are far too low; some of our spammers could get to that level.

They get... pretty fast if they want to. Discussed in another topic
[Edit]
IMHO The minimum level for some actions should be gold, not silver.

Actually, it's been happening 'lately' (i.e., now and then this year).
I post something, in this case an A for Q&A, and get no points (whaaaaaah!)
Oddly, I did get the upvote on the answer Want to swap digits of multiple digit num randomly[^]
Ten points won't kill me as I rapidly close in on OG, but it would seem that something's a bit amiss under the hood that needs a tad of tending.
<enhance>
Now it's one thing to lose point for Q&A stuff. It's quite another when a lounge post has upvotes and they don't show.
That just ain't right! Not at all. Nosireee!
I need that positive reinforcement. Trust me on this.

<enhance 2>
I answered a Q&A this morning and nothing showed, even after quite some time. Just out of curiosity, I 'improved' the answer (added an HTML <br>) to see what would happen - expecting a point for the comment.
Instead, it pushed the original answer out (of a buffer?) stamped with the current time (not the time I did the deed). Maybe this will help find out where they are hiding.

Had that happening to me too recently. It's not a new issue, IIRC.

It's the new CP AI, named Bill. It judges your comment to see if it is worth of points or not. Don't take it personal.
There are two kinds of people in the world: those who can extrapolate from incomplete data.
There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

I've never come anywhere near daily point limits - let along on Q&A answers.
Every now-and-then, points seem to get 'misplaced' - reporting them may, eventually, find where the little point-eating-beast is hiding.

The last "Daily Build" I have received was October 18. Has something changed such that emails to Canada are no longer getting through?

Have a look at this solution[^], there is some unformatted code which alerts when the page is loaded.
Response.Write("'"+ date.ToShortDateString() +"' ");

That's a big one. I think alerting @chris-maunder and @sean-ewington is in order.

Wrapping in pre solved the problem, but here is a definite problem with that code stored not encoded...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.
