As the title says, I did few up votes for few authors but my rep point wasn't changed. I noticed the same issue in comments(total 7), which suppose to add a 1 point increase in the rep point counter. I know it's not too much, but still doesn't work. The comments are not shown in the reputation point history as well.

Same here. Today a fraction of my activity got recorded in the reputation history...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

When you say "vote counting" you mean reputation, not the actual article or forum ratings, right?
With regards to rep storage, we have been seeing a few database issues which we're investigating. Of course, when I test it, it works perfectly for me.

Yes ... we speak about the Reputation Points ...
This comes also with "User Login" and "ask a Question" and "posted Comment" - I think since the 22nd of October

Still broken - but works sporadically (to add to your fun).
E.g.: I posted an answer to a Q&A yesterday and no rep points showed up BUT the answer got upvoted and that did show. Nothing for today's login. Further down the list, there's a double -1 related to some thread being removed to which I posted a reply.
Begged question: is their any leakage of this problem to others just waiting to show?
It just could be that some member's have too many points, and, like billionaires, they're sucking up the points that should be going to the middle-pointers?

You mean my rep is turning into a black hole?

Vote counting-article voting, comment voting,... was(AFAIK) and should count a 1 point toward the voter reputation point. However this is not working properly.

Does this mean you will have to do another "rep point recount"?
If so, then ... appropriate music[^] ... I remember the last one.

Nope - that is not going to happen.
What we may do is go through rep events and posting events for the past 2 weeks and look for those not added and add them retroactively. However, no full recount. No one seemed happy with up to date accurate figures so if we've dropped a few here or there over the years then I'm assuming we'll all survive. Somehow.

This also affect future article contest voting capability. The lesser the vote, the narrower having this capability. Should be fixed ASAP.

Votes are getting recorded - it's just the rep points that weren't getting awarded. Article contests won't be affected.

Quote: it's just the rep points that weren't getting awarded This is my point. For the voter, The lesser the points recorded, the narrower having capability to vote in a "Monthly Article Contest" survey.
In other words, the time to overcome "You don't have enough reputation to vote..." message would be much longer than before.
You know how much I want to vote in this survey.

Yes, but no one, as far as I could tell, had given an example.

Thanks for that. I couldn't see anything in the error logs but that in itself helps me narrow down what's happening.
Which browser are you using?

I just tried to post this string "Can you post the full exception?" No errors in chrome's console.

Here are my observation while trying to post a comment.
I was trying to post a comment in following thread-
Java help how to read file linebyline[^]
Post value is -
{ "objectRef": "2_1150473_1","boldMemberId": "12805974", "pageSize": "0", "showAll": "false", "comment": "any%20luck%20with%20debug%3F%20any%20clue%3F" }
Response is -
{"d":{"status":"Fail","Message":"Unable to save the comment."}}
Just in case it helps
