The change in the "reply" link is great! However, (related to it or not) now the edit link ("Modify the comment") got broken... (at least on Chrome 28) or is it the edit pen that ran out of ink?
It is a paradox that paradoxes would actually exist in reality.
That means of course that they don't exist.
However, they do!

Almost there!
Is it possible to hide the big white box at the bottom until you actually hit the "Add Solution" button? I think people see that and figure its a great place to use for comments. Granted it adds an extra click, but I think it would cut down on the solutions as comments.
I do like the new reply button location!

But those who answer have to open it with a click on the Add Solution instead of just typing.
Perhaps shrink it a bit and expand when typing begins

My concern with that is that it elevates the prominence of the "Add a qestion or comment" button. If you read a question then scroll through the answers and arrive at the bottom then currently it's obvious where you post your answer, but if we hid the box the answers would end up getting posted as comments.
If someone posts a comment as an answer it's highly visible and easy to remove it. If someone posts an answer as a comment it's more hidden and less likely to be reposted as an actual answer.

My points! My points! What am I doing?
Every time I update my latest article I get 5 'reputation' points for doing so, then an additional 100 for posting an article. I suspect I'm not supposed to get those, but if this is not an error thanks very much and does John Lewis accept them?
(John Lewis is a posh shop where posh people like me buy table-lamps and curtains for those not in the UK).

Rob Philpott.

Well, I'm not in the UK and I could certainly use a new reading lamp.

When posting a bug you can use the little green alien icon that says "Bug"

Unescaped <table> tags in a message break the layout of the forum. There's a prime example in the ASP.NET forum[^] right now.

This: Intel® App Innovation Contest 2013 - Express Entry[^] is listed under "Surveys" on the Home page - I'm pretty sure it's just misplaced!

Anyone those who have privilege to update my article/tip ,I know its not bad to make my article better but it should be done in a proper manner, they should not change the layout or images of my article.Today I saw that some one has changed my tip ya its good , he/she has changed some text to look better, but he/she has changed one of my image that I've provided in my tip , its not good.
My request to Code Project please don't give privilege to such person, or please give privilege to author of the article/tip to approve the change in his article made by other user.

It sounds like you left the defaults in place when you added your tip. One of the things you can set is who can edit your article. You might want to check this the next time you add a tip.

No I've set Admin can edit.

Then the part about stopping the editor doesn't make sense. The person who made the change is a CP employee. Visually, the images are the same - the only difference is that the edited version shows a file based image - do you have a problem with that?

No my image is replaced with an other image.

When I compare your older version with the version that's there now, it's the same context menu image.

As a follower of the Intel developer program I arrived at this address:
http://www.codeproject.com/Competitions/660/Intel-AppInnovation-Contest-2013
and discovered multiple "typos" which did not significantly disrupt the content or information presented but was a bit distracting.
(I am ignoring those types made in the messages from patrons since they may or may not
realize [or recogonize] typos in their messages - see the message posted by Ashwin Singh IND
[8 Aug 13@10:58 = Cannot inlude video in article] or the follow -up posts; only the original
texts within the base articles.)
I direct your attention specifically to the article by "varsha_holla" titled "Heart Monitor App" with the subject description "it maintains your hearrt beat and helps you to be healthy."
With a topic as important as the health of one's heart finding an error in the description may place the author's credibility in question. Please check and see if this is in-fact a typo and if so, please correct it (them); if not then my apologies to the author, Mr.\Mrs.\Ms.\Dr. "holla" and to your editorial staff.
Also, if typos are contained in my post, please pay no attention.
A reader. David Schrader

David. When you come across an error like this, the common courtesy is to notify the author of the problem so that they may get a chance to correct a simple typo (plus I think it's a bit harsh to question whether this place's their credibility in question - especially if English isn't their first language). In order to notify them of the issue, you can contact them at the forum at the end of the article[^].

Thanks for taking the time to post, David.
Poor grammar is one of my pet peeves (though I suffer from it as much as the next person) but in this instance the text in the article on the contest page has been posted by our members. Since these entries are merely at the "ideas" stage we're not actively editing them: we're letting the members judge for themselves and only the top ideas will make it through to the next round.
And yes, article quality will definitely come into play when these entries are judged.
