Yep - ditto.
I was about the report the same, so it isn't just you.

We're mucking around with our newsletter system and accidentally had a checkbox, well, checked.
Lots of self flagellation at CPHQ this morning. Our apologies.

Tell Sean to stop that now. That's what caused the checkbox to be checked in the first place.

When we wish to report an inappropriate message in the forums, we currently have a choice of flagging it as "Abusive" or "Spam". We really need a third category ("BS" / "General crap" / "Inappropriate" ?) for messages such as this one[^]
The only problem I can see is coming up with the right label. We want something sufficiently general to cover what I'm talking about, but not too inviting to trolls / flamers. (Trolls probably don't care what words we use.)
btw, if 3 people report a post as abuse and 2 as spam, does that count as its 5 strikes, or does it need five of a kind??

What's wrong with just downvoting it? What would marking it as "General Crap" gain us?

I think you're after an "innapropriate" report, right? We can add that. Stay tuned.

Hi Michael,
We will try sending you a test message shortly to see what happens. Please let me know if you receive it OK.
Thanks,

Yes, the test was received but the confirmation is still not being received. I executed again with the same negative results.

I keep accidentally clicking on the Insider box assuming it's the Lounge, and I am sure many others are too. Would be nice to have it back to how it was. Thanks.

We should all learn to move on in life - to new and better experiences. Except and embrace changes.
Therefore, the Lounge will ultimately become the CodeProject homepage.

After posting a solution in QA that included a C# code sample I noticed that the editor decided to close some XML tags, that should have not been treated like tags in the first place - they are placed in a comment.
The live preview didn't include the closing tags, but the submitted version appended them at the end of the code block.
The problem should be visible here: Create XML Dynamically using Asp.net C#.[^]
I'll try to test it also here:
Edit: not reproduced in this message (obviously )

I searched for this but did not see anything.
Occasionally, not often, a question comes up in QA that is interesting. Interesting enough to want to know the answer. Is there any chance of getting a "notify me by email when an answer is posted" button for questions in QA? Or is there already such a thing and I am not smart enough to figure it out?

I have tried bookmarking a question and then from my list of bookmarks, select Watch, but I don't know if that causes an email to be sent when an answer is posted.
So far there have not been any updates on that question. Maybe I should try adding a couple more.
