I have tried bookmarking a question and then from my list of bookmarks, select Watch, but I don't know if that causes an email to be sent when an answer is posted.
So far there have not been any updates on that question. Maybe I should try adding a couple more.

Unfortunately bookmarking relies on utilizing my shrinking number of living brain cells to remember to go back and check.
Why is common sense not common?

At first I thought it was a bit cumbersome too, but then I realized that you do need somewhere to manage all your update subscriptions.
Anyway, I have not received any emails or any indications anywhere that there have been updates to my bookmarked and watch questions despite the fact that an answer was posted to at least one of them.
I guess this method is not the solution

If you do a search on articles/tech blog/etc and clear your history while on the search page then try to search again you will receive a viewstate error.
Problem: Invalid viewstate.

It is intrsting to search like SQL queries, isn't it?
As many users are developer, it is going to be easy search for us to do like that.
Although there is an advance search but always takes time to find specific filtering that I am looking for.
What's your idea?

let me give an example:
Select * From Article Where Tag = C#

That's a pretty dangerous feature to implement. One of the key tenets is that we shouldn't allow something that could lead to a SQL Injection attack.

I did not mean to execute the command in database.
I mean that application should parse the query.
I'm just saying that replace query with ComboBoxes or CheckBoxes for result filtering.

We already have a query language that allows you to specify a ton of things when searching, and I don't see that a SQL-t0-Lucene query translator would provide tangible benefits to our readers.

IIRC Javascript is disabled intentionally to prevent naughty behaviour.
More to the point why do you want to put some Javascript in a message?

Our system strips javascript. The link you've provided gets mangled to
http://www.codeproject.com/Messages/4285967/java%3C!--%20no%20--%3Escript:alert('check%20this%20out!');
This is an illegal URL so our system just gives up and sends you to an error page.

Hello there,
The "I've solved This myself " button is hidden sometimes, this made me provide a solution to my own question and accept that, but as soon as I pasted my solution, this button reappeared. It has happened a couple of times to me before.
And when I solve a question myself, the green coloured tick mark doesn't appear. This makes other users waste their time in looking into my question and suggest answers.
Hope this will be fixed (if I'm not the only one experiencing this )
Thanks
