We have a bug. I made the mistake of coding while sober last night. I have a bottle of red in front of me and will get the issue fixed tonight.

After bookmarking an article, the bookmark (star) icon switches from showing '+' to showing a 'v' sign.
But after refreshing the page, this indication disappears and the original "Add bookmark" behavior returns (making it impossible to know that the page is already bookmarked).

This is called expediency. To indicate whether you had bookmarked a given item would require an extra database call for each page view so we punted and left it non-indicating on page refresh.

Got it. Thanks for the clarification (and for the new word to my vocabulary )

Here a bunch of things which I have been experiencing for about a week:
- Clicking on the "New Message" Button in a forum does not always work. When it does not work, I must reload the page.
- The site returns "Unexpected behavior CP returned something"-ish kind of messages when posting. Sometimes my post does really appear on the forum, sometimes not.
- The CSS loads completely only every other time, meaning I have to reload the page to get it properly displayed.
Is it only me ?

I can confirm this as well.

Is that because you're clicking on the coloured area or the link itself? It's not actually a button, just a styled link. I'll fix.

I'm not seeing anything in our error logs that has this wording. Is there a ticket number provided?

IT could be you were viewing the site during an update. Still happening? If so, it sounds like a network issue your end.

No, definitely the link. And it still happens.

It's not the exact wording. Just occurred to me that it could be a CPHog error message...
Chris Maunder wrote: Still happening?
Yep, several times again today. But you are right, our network is probably to be blamed.

It doesn't. You've been redirected to the error page. Try clearing your cache and then go back to the page. As if by magic, it shall reappear.

But what about the other Report options? Still only the Approve button there. Dave posted a message here[^] about new video articles. So there should be validation(Video on Video articles) & also there should be other report options.

No, it was not my article.
I came across a case where I wanted to warn readers about dangerous lie on the technical matter and, in discussion, faced the accusation of the article author by the original author in plagiarism. I think this it should not be tolerated and suggested the original author would file the complain, after through check up of the fact.
(Besides, the article has poorly negative value due to technical aspects, anyway )
But after that, I wasn't sure the way to report on plagiarism. So, what should be done?
Thank you,

Each article has a report flag icon, which when you mouse over it gives the option to report an article as plagiarized. You can even fill in additional information in a comment box; such information might include a link to the original article or a link to the post in which the supposed original author made a claim that the author was plagiarized. I assume that when you put those comments in when you report an article, the plagiarism is looked into and verified.

A-ah, the red flag was on top, not where the voting is, one the opposite end. I failed to see it after two or three views.
Thank you very much,

This is the right place, but you need to provide a link to the article and citations to show where it's plagiarised from. At that point the duty hamsters spring into life.

Thank you. This is was a preliminary question. I'm not an author of the plagiarized work, and such author did not yet share the link to the original work. It was my suggestion to him.

Sorry for bringing this[^] to your attention. I was editing one post on Q&A and got this error when saving. I did not modify the title so I wonder why I got the error.
The subject must be between 20 and 250 characters.
I'm not sure if this validation is already on the create question page, but if it's not, can we please include it?
Signature construction in progress. Sorry for the inconvenience.
